Reports for students

Information about the allocation of references and reports by the chair

We are willing to write references for further applications for students who have deepened at the Chair of Insurance Economics and Social Security or who have visited the lectures "Einführung in die BWL" and "Modelling and Decision Making". It is important to know that we only write academical reports. We don't write reports for potential future employers (neither in general nor for a special employer).

Academical reports for applications for places to study, scholarships or research programmes are written personally adressed to the university or institution. We experienced that this increases the credibility of such reports and gives them more weight than "To whom it may concern" reports.

Please address an employee of the chair. We need the following documents:

• curriculum vitae,
• overview of grades,
• a table of all lectures visited at the Chair of Insurance Economics and Social Security and the appropriate grades,
• a letter with the following information: your contact data, until when you need the report, for which institution(s) you need the report, in which language the report should be written and if necessary forms for the application,
• a one to two sided letter of motivation (Why do you want to get the scholarship/go abroad/...)

In general there will be a personal meeting with an employee of the chair to get to know you better. Please think about relevant things for the report you would like to tell us. We like to support you on your further way.
